Capacity Building

Our skills cover a range of expertise, particularly in sensitive advisory and capacity development roles in areas of major vulnerability and gender.
Our approach offers a practical and informed performance based design, modelling, implementation and evaluation expertise.
Our expertise is relevant and informed by academic qualifications, professional accreditations and a simple 'hands on experience' profile drawn from our extensive work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.

Our leading capabilities, qualifications and experience in large scale capacity building have been applied with great success, nationally and internationally. Typically we're engaged in advisory or project delivery roles on either short or long-term initiatives with Australia and across the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.

Our successes include national reform and capacity building for the Asia Development Bank, United Nations, World Bank NGO sector, Government Departments & agencies as well as private sector organisations where fraud, corruption, governance and security concerns are front-of mind.  Our touch-points here have broad and deep in key areas such asLaw, Justice, Policing, Medical, Finance, Probity and the Monitoring and Evaluation of Country and Regional Programs.

Our services include:

  • National programs in anti-corruption, integrity, probity, major fraud and in specific areas such as whistle-blower, performance review and due diligence of high value development programs

  • Organisation-wide and nation-wide reviews, analytics and performance modelling, particularly in technical areas of judicial and prosecutorial programs, courts systems, infrastructure, family and social services

  • Advisory roles and project services in policing, law, justice, corruption, customs, security and governance

  • Monitoring and evaluation, strategic analysis and reviews of developing, fragile and failed state programs at the national and project levels

Governance

Our capabilities in governance maintain a strong focus on people, processes, systems and relationships. Our expertise is in Indigenous advocacy, fairness and positive reform - not the status quo.
Our services are delivered in sector and organisational reviews, assessments, change management, reform and performance management programs often based around the delivery of better practice through evidence-based risk management and business effective business systems.
Key to our delivery success are the skills, proprietary tools and techniques in multi-bias data synthesis that use information from multiple sources and fold this into coherent models for better decision-making and an informed analysis and commentary. This is a high-value skill set in the setting of strategy, definition of policy and in the formation of governance, assurance and integrity frameworks.
